Who We Are

We are a grassroots advocacy group of registered speech-language pathologists (SLPs), formed out of a shared interest in improving speech-language services for young children in BC. There are typically two to four regular members of Communication Matters, with additional SLPs who volunteer to help with specific projects.

Our Vision

Our vision is that all preschool-age children in BC will have access to the speech-language pathology services they need so they can maximize their learning, social development and well-being throughout life.
